2019: The Year of Being INTENTIONAL

It’s finally 2019, but what does that mean? How are we going to make this year even more meaningful?

The answer is … we should be dedicating this year to being intentional!

Living a more intentional life takes a bit of hard work and dedication. It means investing in yourself in a way that you’ve never done before. And when we say investing - we don’t mean going out and buying a new car. We mean consciously working on self-love through healing, setting goals and manifestation.

THE first thing that’s really important to understand is that our lives are made up of choices. The choices you make in life are based on what is best for you. Being able to do an honest evaluation and self assessment to understand where you are and where you want to be is critical. Having a very real heart to heart with your inner community to better understand you - creates the foundation for living a more intentional life. Understand your fears, your passion, your talents, your stress triggers, your goals, your weaknesses and your strengths take some true uninterrupted soul searching.

THEN you have to be willing and ready to take action! Being intentional is about proactively doing things that align with your values - the values that will push you to become a better version of yourself.

In deciding that you want to live your life for you - you have to make decisions everyday to do the things that best serve you, brings your good vibes and uplifts your spirit.

Goals- As repetitive as this may sound, setting short term and long term goals are extremely important. Perhaps even having a daily check list that provides some initial directive is helpful. Goals move us, shape us and help keep us accountable.

Circle of Influence- Actively removing negative or adding positive people to your circle of influence may be challenging but is super important. Being intentional means that we are intentionally surrounding ourselves with other people who motivate so that both people can bloom together.

Reward- Through this very intentional journey, rewarding yourself is important. Positive reinforcement and acknowledging small milestones help to keep you motivated and focused. Additionally, it’s a form of self-love.

Learn and Alter - This is a process - a journey! Learning from your mistakes and learning from others will ultimately help your grow. As you learn, be sure to alter and revise your approach to being intention so that it fits your life and lifestyle.

These practical steps initially will feel robotic but soon become habits that turn into an ever evolving lifestyle. Staying focused and continuously fighting for what you believe will make you a healthier, happier and more whole human being is the key. Put the energy into the universe towards manifestation.

Being intentional is about dedication and believing that your life is beautiful!
